Between 31 Oct ‘23 and 19 Nov ‘23, 6,900 households across the Esher and Walton constituency will have receive another £300 cost of living payment from the government. This is the second of three payments totalling up to £900 for those eligible and on means-tested benefits, such as Universal Credit, Pension Credit, or tax credits, in 2023 – 2024.
This latest payment builds on payments made last year worth up to £1,200, and form part of the government’s commitment to supporting those on lower incomes and the vulnerable. Together, it’s worth an average of £3,300 per eligible household.
The payment should have been made automatically so there is no need to apply, and it will not count towards the benefit cap or impact on existing benefit awards. If you haven’t received it, let John know: [email protected]
